UC San Diego Adult Down Syndrome Program
At UC San Diego, this clinic serves as a regional resource for adults with Down syndrome and their families, caregivers, health care professionals, and others who share in their dedication to helping this population live happier and healthier lives. While there is no "cure" for Down syndrome, the clinic strives to develop therapies that will help people with this condition live longer, more independent lives. Best Buddies California
Best Buddies International is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). In California, our programs impact nearly 59,700 individuals with and without disabilities within the state.
